We are very pleased to let you all know that we are welcoming Korky’s Catering to RBGC as our new permanent in-house caterers.
Korky’s is owned and run by Stacey and KJ. KJ is a chef from the UK, who moved to NZ in 2009. Stacey’s background is retail & she has a passion for great food and great customer service. Korky’s is named after KJ’s late fathers wine bar in London, that he owned back in the 70’s. Korky’s style is unique, funky, and fun & they take inspiration from all over the globe for our food. KJ’s passion is desserts but anyone that knows her knows that she has a secret obsession with kimchi, which makes regular appearances on the menu in different dishes. Many of our members & visitors have been enjoying their delicious food truck fare over the last few months and now you can look forward to a more extensive menu (plus some of those favourite burgers & fries!) on Friday evenings in the clubhouse soon – the renovations are progressing very well and we will let you know as soon as we have the date that Korky’s will be in the new kitchen! Until then KJ & Stacey will be on-site every Friday evening for your end of week takeaway dinners.
