Tomorrow – Friday January 2nd – we’re teeing it up for our Annual Fancy Dress Ambrose Golf Tournament, and it’s shaping up to be an absolute belter! ⛳✨
Here’s everything you need to know before you hit the fairways:
🏌️♂️ The draw is UP!👉 Click HERE to check your allocated tee time – these are final and can’t be changed. Prefer the old-school method? The draw is also on the clubhouse notice board 📋😉 Please note that you all will be teeing off on #1 (ignore the reference on the draw to #10!! 👍). Plus keep an eye out for our RBGC starter on #1 and they will help you out 🙌
🎉 Big numbers! Due to unprecedented demand, we have XX players all set for an epic day of golf, laughs, and outrageous outfits!
🙋♀️ Volunteers needed! We’re still on the hunt for helpers – even a couple of hours would be amazing. Please text Mel Walker on 021 537 156 if you can lend a hand 🙏💚
⏱️ Ready golf is key! Each tee time has 2 groups of 4, so timely play and ready golf are essential to keep the day flowing and fun for everyone.
📝 Arrive early Please come early to complete registration and pay entry fees – allow 20 minutes to get sorted.
⏰ Don’t be late! Miss your tee time and we won’t be able to offer another option – alarms on! ⏰😄
🚫 Course closed to public play The course is closed all day, with our first tee-off at 6:48am (yes… that’s early! 😴☕). Tournament players only!
🏌🏽♂️🏌🏽♀️Tee Shots Important to remember that it’s a team effort tomorrow – a minimum of 3 tee shots per team member please 🙂
🍔🌭 Food, glorious food! RBSLC will be running their famous fundraising sausage sizzle out on the entrance patio all day 🌭 & Korky’s Catering will be serving from 12–4pm & 5–8pm in the clubrooms🔥Grab a bite and enjoy the action from the balcony as players come down #18 🌊🏌️♂️Plus the bar is open from 11am.
🎭👗 Fancy dress fun! Of course, it wouldn’t be the same without fancy dress and awesome prizes up for grabs – we can’t wait to see who steals the show tomorrow! 🤩🏆
